Gadtorade oh Gadtorade
e-mail rejection
Baru kemarin ini kepingin lagi join ke milis gadtorade karena memang kebetulan lagi ada kebutuhan untuk beli memory SO-DIMM PC133 yang memang agak langka dan pinginnya harga gadtorade (murah) hehe .. namun saya tidak menyangka kalau atmosfir di milis tersebut sudah jauh berubah sejak saya tinggalkan dulu karena banyaknya e-mail yang masuk sehingga terpaksa saya un-sub karena tidak bisa no-mail (di reset balik lagi jadi normal oleh mod).

Conficker .. akh biasa aja
Mulai dari kemarin sampai hari ini bertepatan dengan april mop, orang² di kantor pada panik dengan virus/worm conflicer. Saya rasa tidak masalah selama system windows mereka ter-update dengan patch terbaru dan juga terdapat anti virus di systemnya. Virus/worm ini biasanya menyebar via internet dan USB.

duh alamak .. binun juga dikit lagi SIM saya habis masa berlakunya dan musti di perpanjang, lagi² musti cari informasi dimana SIM keliling terdekat dengan lokasi kantor sekarang ada disini .. setelah browsing sebentar ketemulah beberapa dokumen berikut, semoga membantu rekan² yang membutuhkan.

Sharing 3G Smart dengan USB WiFi (hot spot murmer)
Akhir² ini kepikiran mau beli 3G router Huawei E960 tapi kepikir juga mahal amat hampir 2 juta utk yg refurbish di jaknot .. browsing² sana-sini ketemu juga referensinya di webnya hoeda, berikut step-by-stepnya untuk peralatan yg saya miliki. Kelebihan dengan cara ini dibanding tutorial dari hoeda adalah bisa di share lebih dari 1 client dan setting IP juga mudah tidak perlu menyamakan isian DNS yang sama dengan 3G modem di PC2 (client) dan juga tidak perlu mengisi WINS address di PC2 (client).

Mayan juga nih, baru hari ini beli setelah cari info dan lihat sendiri hasil koneksinya di galery smart metmal bekasi .. bisa internetan dari rumah yang baru karena belum ada koneksi fastnet … smoga koneksinya tetep bagus dan semakin baik.

756 a.k.a Fastnet Double Speed
Entah kenapa beberapa hari ini kecepatan dunlut dan upload dari ISP yang saya pakai di rumah mencapai 2 kali lipatnya, ini juga dirasakan oleh rekan² yang berlokasi berlainan .. saya harap ini bukan (ternyata hanya) sementara ehehehe
